This is done by identifying work-force requirements, taking inventory of people available, recruiting new staff, selecting, placing, promoting, apprising, planning their career, training the staff to accomplish their tasks effectively and efficiently. Finding the right person for right job.

Selecting the personnel.

Placement, training and developing new skills required for present and future jobs.

Creating new positions.

Apprising the staff and planning their growth and promotions etc.
